Rainbow Six Siege is the latest tactical shooter in the Tom Clancy universe. Some of Ubisoft's attempts to stage a comeback for the series didn't work out too well, as neither Rainbow 6 Vegas nor Rainbox 6 Vegas 2 were very well received on the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360. With Rainbow 6 Siege though, Ubisoft seems to have finally found the right formula for the series.
The last two Rainbow Six featured a single-player campaign, and Rainbow Six Siege is no different. However, this time around the focus is on multiplayer. Our preview at Gamescom 2015 had us squaring off other game journalists in five on five combat. Much like Team Fortress 2 and Battlefield 4, here too you choose your character class at the start of the match. While we had around 10 classes to choose from, the final game will have 20. Different classes have different powers, such as the ability to wield special weapons such as sledge hammers to breach doors, or electronic jammers to keep your foes at bay.

China's Huawei said it backed Apple's chief executive Tim Cook in his stand-off with the United States government over breaking into an iPhone, but stopped short of saying explicitly it would adopt the same stance.
“It is very important, we agree with that,” Richard Yu, chief executive of Huawei's consumer business group, told reporters in Barcelona gathered for the Mobile World Congress. “Privacy protection is very important for Huawei, we put a lot of investment into privacy, and security protection is key, it is very important for the consumer.

Tests have found that removing Facebook's iOS app can increase the battery life of an iPhone by about 15 percent. Additionally, getting rid of Facebook can also free up a lot of data on your iPhone, the test results indicate.
Facebook's Android apps were recently found sipping up a substantial amount of battery life and other resources. And now it appears, Facebook's iOS app is no better. The Guardian ran tests on an iPhone 6s Plus to find that removing Facebook's marquee app improved battery life on the smartphone. Gionee on Monday unveiled its new S8 flagship smartphone at MWC in Barcelona, Spain. The company at the event also revealed its brand new logo and tagline that says, “Make Smiles.”
The Gionee S8 has been priced at EUR 449 (approximately Rs. 34,000) and will go on sale by end of March in Rose Gold, Silver, and Gold colours.
The smartphone features 3D Touch (yes, the same name Apple uses) pressure sensitive display, one of the biggest highlights of the smartphone, and is expected to work same as the new iPhone models. The company says that the smartphone can sense 3 levels of force including touch to select an app, tap to preview the content of an app, and press to run the app.
Another notable feature is a loop metal design. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch full-HD Amoled display with narrow bezels measuring 0.75mm.
