Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 2026

After forging a formidable reputation for itself in the global market with conventional notebooks and tablets, Lenovo has taken a fresh leap into Android tablet segment and has launched two new tablets dubbed the Yoga Tablet 8 and Yoga Tablet 10.

Much like other Yoga devices in Lenovo's line-up, the Yoga Tablet 10 features multimode design and can be used in different 'modes'. The Chinese giant has been touting the Yoga tablets as the company's biggest launch of the year and also hired the Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher as Lenovo's 'product engineer'. But can the combination of decent hardware, revamped tablet design with sleek form factor and a Hollywood actor make this the turnaround vehicle for Lenovo's tablet segment in India? In spite of all the scorn poured out on tablets with voice-calling support, they are the rage in India, with all major manufacturers trying to grab a slice of the market. The domestic voice-calling tablet segment is growing with a number of launches from both Indian and international manufacturers such as Samsung, Micromax, Lava, Lenovo, and Karbonn.
One of the latest voice-calling tablets is the Asus Fonepad 7. The Fonepad 7 is the refreshed version of the original Fonepad tablet that was launched in February at MWC this year. Much like the original Fonepad, the new Fonepad 7 comes with an Intel processor, supports voice-calling and in addition, it comes with upgraded specifications. On the heels of Apple's new, lighter iPad, Amazon has come out with a full-size tablet that weighs even less yet sports a sharper display and a lower price tag. Although Amazon's Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 hasn't received as much attention as the iPad Air, it is emerging as the strongest challenger yet to Apple's device.
The new Kindle shares many of the features found in a smaller version that came out Oct. 18.
A row of tabs at the top of the screen gives you quick access to Amazon services such as e-books, music, video and shopping. Recently used apps and content appear in the middle so you can return to them quickly. The bottom row has icons for frequently used apps such as email and the camera.

Canadian e-reader maker, Kobo, recently launched three of its e-readers (it calls them eReaders), and a 7-inch Android tablet, in the Indian market.
Tablets made by e-book reader companies are essentially multimedia capable devices made to please users who're looking to invest in e-books but don't want an e-ink display and want their device to do much more.
Kobo's Android tablet is called the Kobo Arc and competes with the likes of the Kindle Fire HD. As with the Kindle Fire tablet, Kobo's Arc tablet is deeply integrated with Kobo's 'eBooks'
ecosystem, which is also one of the USPs of the tablets. However, it also features the Google Play Store and Google's natives app, that are missing from Amazon's Kindle offering.

One of the most remarkable trends in the Indian tablet industry over the past year has been the rise of the budget segment of tablets. Micromax is one of the major players in this segment, and can take credit for kick-starting the demand with its Funbook tablet, which claimed to combine entertainment with education.

It's hard to imagine that the Need for Speed franchise has been around for more than two decades now. With its debut on the poorly received 3DO console and sequels finding its way on a host of platforms and devices ranging from Android to Zeebo, we've had a staggering 21 years of Need for Speed, and just as many games in the series.
Need for Speed games are a yearly fixture, much like Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, and FIFA. However the franchise took 2014 off in order to reboot the series. The end result is known simply as Need for Speed. Ever since the reboot was announced, publisher Electronic Arts (EA) has been talking up the return to the franchise's roots, taking inspiration from classics like Most Wanted and Underground. That might have been the intention, the end result is a completely different beast, and not in an entirely good way.

No game is as synonymous with the Xbox brand like Halo. If Gears of War led to a wave of third-person cover shooters, then Halo: Combat Evolved showed everyone how a first person shooter (FPS) can work on consoles, and Halo was the reason you absolutely had to buy an Xbox back in 2001.
Fast forward to 2015 and Microsoft's third console, the Xbox One, has gotten its first original Halo game – Halo 5: Guardians. The Xbox One has had its fair share of solid exclusive games such as Sunset Overdrive and Forza Horizon 2, but it hasn't had that one must-have title that will convinced everyone to give Microsoft's newest black box a try. Many people have been looking towards Halo 5 to see if this game is the system seller that Microsoft wants for the Xbox One.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate 2026

If familiarity bred contempt, we'd be thoroughly sick of the numerous Assassin's Creed games over the years. Counting the various spin-offs, there are now over 20 games in the series. Despite this, Assassin's Creed Syndicate – the latest entry in the series – proves that there's still life left in Ubisoft's take on the open-world stealth genre.
The game puts you in the roles of Jacob and Evie Frye, twin assassins who are eager to reclaim London from the grip of the Templar Order. Similar to the first game in the series, you're not a rank outsider on the road to being an assassin, rather you already are one. This allows for a different narrative approach in comparison to the most popular games in the series, such as Assassin's Creed 2, and Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. Without spoiling much, developer Ubisoft Quebec has managed to weave a tale that manages to keep you interested from start to finish.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection Review – Familiarity Breeds Contempt

For many people, the Uncharted series was the deciding factor that led to their purchase of a PlayStation 3 (PS3), and who could blame them? Out of Sony's entire roster of exclusives – ranging from shooters like Resistance and Killzone to more artistic fare like LittleBigPlanet – the Indiana Jones-like exploits of Nathan Drake resonated most with a generation of gamers who wanted more than the brutal action of God of War, or the super heroic trappings of Infamous.
Even after three increasingly bombastic games on the PS3, and a solid portable outing (Uncharted: Golden Abyss) on the PS Vita, it's hard not to think of Nathan Drake as video games' everyman – a relatable average guy with no superpowers, who finds himself in a host of unlikely situations involving the occult, abominable snowmen, and at times, hanging from the end of a train bogey that's about to fall off a cliff.

Star Wars Battlefront Beta: Is It the Game You’ve Been Looking For?

Star Wars Battlefront, a first person shooter set in the Star Wars universe created by Mirror's Edge and Battlefield developer EA Dice, holds a lot of promise. Dice has a history of making great games, and of course the Star Wars universe is rich with lore that promises a variety of exciting settings for large scale battles.
After all, which self-respecting Star War fan wouldn't like to fly an X-Wing or be Darth Vader? And you can do that right now without buying the game, thanks an open beta of Battlefront that is available for all and sundry to check out. To test out the beta, we jumped right in with the rest of the online populace to see how well the game holds up at maximum capacity. The results were a mixed bag that left us with “a disturbing lack of faith”.

Anno 2205 Preview: Sci-Fi SimCity or Something More?

When you think of city-building, SimCity comes to mind. But while it's not as high profile, the Anno series has also been doing just that since the late 90s. The latest entry in the series, Anno 2205, has a lot in common with its predecessor, Anno 2070. It shares the same forward looking sci-fi trappings as Anno 2070, while previous games were based on historical settings.
Despite the almost 200 year gap between the setting of both games, Anno 2205 appears similar to its predecessor. This isn't much of a problem since it looks futuristic, shiny and pleasant on the eyes. From buildings that wouldn't look out of place in Star Wars to flying cars, there's a lot to wonder over. It's a game that's steeped in detail, making it fun to watch.

Remember when people used personal computers – desktops and laptops – to check email, view video and keep tabs on Facebook? Back in that far-away era, I'd have several windows open for Web browsers, a word processor, a photo editor and sometimes a reader for PDF documents.
I miss that capability on mobile devices, particularly on full-size tablets with a decent amount of display space. With iPads and Android tablets, I'm typically limited to one window displayed at a time; other apps run in the background, out of sight. With Windows 8 tablets, I can run two windows side by side, but I'm constrained in what I can do with them. It gets better with the Windows 8.1 update due out next week, but it's still not the free-for-all I had with PCs.
