The Homido Mini is a small, easy to use, and extremely portable virtual reality 'headset' for mobile devices that works with apps that support Google Cardboard. It's reasonably cheap, and you can use it to very easily showcase VR experiences without having to carry around a large boxy cardboard headset, which makes it a great buy if you're interested in virtual reality.
Getting into virtual reality has never been easier thanks to smartphone-powered VR headsets. Although a full-fledged VR setup is expensive – for example, the Oculus Rift will cost you $599 to pre-order (roughly Rs. 39,500) – mobile setups are significantly cheaper.

Based on our first impressions, Bloodborne finally changes things. Set in the sprawling city of Yharnam, you find yourself in the role of a hunter in search for a cure for a plague. The plot however quickly takes a backseat, quite intentionally, with one of the early characters telling us not to overthink the situation and just kill monsters instead.
While Bloodborne is low on story, the atmosphere is intoxicating and Yarnham is a visual treat. Sinister buildings house untold horrors, and cobble-stoned streets have burning effigies of lycanthropes, but you won't spend much time sightseeing. Danger and death lurk in every corner of Yharnam. In a year dominated by twitchy first-person shooters that rely on reflexes and instinct such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and Halo 5, Rainbow Six Siege is a breath of fresh air for fans of multiplayer shooters.
Based on the Tom Clancy series of the same name, it pits you against human opponents in a slew of match types. As you play, you'll gain access to a host of operators – soldiers with unique tech such as being able to track enemies' locations by their heartbeat or reviving team mates. There is a single-player mode, but it's nothing more than a short tutorial, which does little more than introduce you to the game mechanics, and prepare you for multiplayer which makes up the chunk of Rainbow Six Siege.
The first thing you'll notice about this game is the change in pace. It isn't as zippy as other shooters, yet despite how heavy the armour on your character appears to be, death comes quickly. Each match becomes a frantic scurry to get behind slowly disinteg..

Rainbow Six Siege is the latest tactical shooter in the Tom Clancy universe. Some of Ubisoft's attempts to stage a comeback for the series didn't work out too well, as neither Rainbow 6 Vegas nor Rainbox 6 Vegas 2 were very well received on the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360. With Rainbow 6 Siege though, Ubisoft seems to have finally found the right formula for the series.
The last two Rainbow Six featured a single-player campaign, and Rainbow Six Siege is no different. However, this time around the focus is on multiplayer. Our preview at Gamescom 2015 had us squaring off other game journalists in five on five combat. Much like Team Fortress 2 and Battlefield 4, here too you choose your character class at the start of the match. While we had around 10 classes to choose from, the final game will have 20. Different classes have different powers, such as the ability to wield special weapons such as sledge hammers to breach doors, or electronic jammers to keep your foes at bay.

If you grew up as a teenager in the 90s and were a bit of a geek, then you probably have a soft spot for LucasArts' puzzle adventure games. The games might not have the same mass appeal as Star Wars, but at that time there were very few things that were cooler than Sam & Max, or Monkey Island.
Grim Fandango was the culmination of that genre, one of the best games of its kind in 1998, and also, unfortunately, a commercial failure that was one of the factors that led to the end of LucasArts, and the overall decline of the genre. It's the kind of joke that LucasArts' designers themselves loved – the steady buildup and the sudden reversal of fortune. Unfortunately, the 3D era had begun, and games were going through a significant change, and puzzle games didn't really get a chance to pick themselves up from the ground.

It's been almost a year since the GeForce GTX 750 and 750 Ti GPUs launched, bringing the low-power Maxwell architecture to desktops for the first time. Maxwell improved upon its predecessors not only by raising the bar for performance, but also drastically cutting power consumption. It was unusual for Nvidia to debut a new architecture in an entry-level card, and as it turned out, we had to wait a very long time for Maxwell to show up at the high-end. When it did, we were treated to the powerhouse GTX 980 and GTX 970 – Nvidia even claims it skipped a digit in its numbering scheme because this generation of cards is just so good.
That left quite a gap in the middle, and as everyone knows, the number of people who actually buy top-end graphics cards is pretty low. Nintendo is no stranger to bringing characters from its varied universes together. We've seen this in every console generation with the Super Smash Bros. series, where Pikachu can square off against Mario, and Link from Legend of Zelda can trade blows with Luigi.
This time around, it extends the crossover to two subsets of the Mario franchise, Paper Mario, and Mario & Luigi. The former game sees everyone's favourite plumber rendered in a gorgeous papercraft aesthetic as he sets off to save Princess Peach and perhaps the world as well.
